E' divenuta ormai una rubrica che compare in quasi ogni edizione di notiziario online piuttosto che di telegiornali la pubblicazione di filmati in rete riguardanti episodi di indisciplina degli studenti nei confronti degli insegnanti. Tra i più recenti c'è quello del lancio di una bottiglia d'acqua piena, verso la faccia di una collega; ma abbiamo visto pantaloni calati, passeggiate sulla cattedra, nonchè gravi episodi di bullismo anche nei confronti di ragazzi handicappati. Il motivo di tali atteggiamenti viene sempre ricondotto a responsabilità della scuola piuttosto che del singolo insegnante. Infatti una collega di Lecce è stata sospesa per due mesi poichè un suo alunno dichiarava di essere stato tutta l'ora sotto la cattedra senza che gli fosse detto nulla. Non voglio entrare nel merito specifico della questione, ma da come si pubblicano queste notizie sembra che il fatto che un ragazzo di scuola superiore (minimo di 14 anni) si metta sotto la cattedra, come in questo caso in particolare, o assuma quegli atteggiamenti visti nei filmati, sia assolutamente normale e la colpa semmai è dell'insegnante che non lo ha redarguito. Bene, il mio modestissimo parere è che se viene pubblicata la notizia dell'insegnante sospesa per due mesi, dovrebbe venir pubblicata anche la notizia dei provvedimenti presi verso l'alunno (se ce ne sono stati) perchè così passa il messaggio che a scuola si può fare ciò che si vuole perchè tanto è l'insegnante che deve impedire il verificarsi di queste situazioni e se non lo fa rimane comunque l'unico colpevole.
Inoltre nella quasi totalità degli articoli pubblicati su questo argomento non ci si riferisce quasi mai al contesto sociale da cui provengono i ragazzi protagonisti di questi episodi, che cosa fanno quando non sono a scuola, cosa offrono loro i quartieri in cui abitano. In altre parole se un ragazzo di scuola superiore lancia un oggetto verso un insegnante o cammina sulla cattedra, o non è in grado di stare seduto in un banco, mancano i presupposti fondamentali perchè questo ragazzo possa stare in una scuola, dopodichè possiamo ragionare se l'insegnante è un buon educatore o meno; ma anche se non lo fosse non può essere per questo il bersaglio di insulti o del lancio di oggetti. Onestamente non ho proposte concrete per la soluzione di questi problemi (sarei al posto del Ministro e forse più in alto), ma penso di avere espresso qualche idea dalla quale partire per allargare la discussione oltre il mondo della scuola, sicuramente ai mass media ma anche a chi dovrebbe programmare lo sviluppo of a city, fellow architects, administrators, politicians and so on.
